Just when you thought the mainstream media would simply be left to die under its own bloated weight of lies and deceit coupled with propaganda and divisiveness that has been planted in the minds of over a generation of Americans, up comes the prospect of a federal bailout of the mainstream media.
Here is an excellent survey of the proposed intervention of the federal government into the news by way of a book written by Robert W. McChesney and John Nichols entitled ‘The Death and Life of American Journalism: The Media Revolution that Will Begin the World Again’.
Folks, if you believe that the US government is simply going to stand idly by while the alternative media takes root and begins to tell the truth about the absolute similarities between the two-party system and the mainstream media’s complicity in falsely claiming that there is a difference between the two, then think again.
‘Imagine a world of “post-corporate” newsrooms, where the state serves as the primary benefactor of the Fourth Estate. Billions flow from bureaucracies to media entities and individual journalists in the name of sustaining a “free press.” And this new media welfare state is funded by steep taxes on our mobile phones, broadband connections, and digital gadgets.
Sound Orwellian? Well, it’s the blueprint for a press takeover…’
We have been warning our readers about the dangers of the vertically-integrated, corporate mainstream media for a long time. Now that its very existence is threatened, the federal government is setting out to try to prop it up, apparently at all costs.
Get ready is all we can say. The battle for American hearts and minds is now under way…
You see, folks. Even though Kagan often quotes Israeli Supreme Court Judge Aharon Barak, the bottom line is that Israel does not even have a Constitution. Barak argued in favor of establishing a constitution for Israel, and to this date there is still no formal constitution. Religious Jews were opposed to the idea of their nation having a document which the government would hold to a higher authority thaan religious texts. This coincided with the non-religious viewpoint as expressed by Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion, who said that even though a Proclamation of Independence had been adopted and was a great event, it was merely the beginning of a long process in Israel’s evolution as a democratic state and not “the redemption.” Keep in mind that Judge Barak is noted as having been strongly opposed to the IDF employing the practice of targeted killings when dealing with terrorism, and therefore has come under considerable fire by Israelis much in the same sense that Americans would not favor tying the hands of the US military when targeting terrorists.
In the age of religious indoctrination, some of which leads to acts of violence, political indoctrination also springs from the same clear cut, defined boundaries. The well-known arguments between secularists and the religious elements of society, at least to so-called ‘progressives’, underscores the need for an evolutionary constitutional law. However, this occurs most times by way of legislation becoming adopted into the constitution, and legislative agendas are what Elena Kagan’s mentor, Aharon Barak, drew from when he fashioned Israel’s first prototypical constitution.
Of course, when the judiciary becomes intertwined with the activities of the elected legislative branch, then over time the definition of the makeup of the government itself can be changed, which to many is the precipice of tyranny. Kagan’s approach toward constitutional law being an interpreted over time would never be accepted in Israel even though there is not a constitution per se. Ben Gurion viewed constitutions as having outlived their usefulness during which in times past economic and social disorder required constitutions.
It is not that Kagan’s views about the US Constitution are not correct, but rather she does not take into account the fact that there is a need to maintain social and economic order in the United States. It is just that in a day and age when Americans feel that government has assumed far too much power in controlling others’ lives, this is hardly the time to be arguing in favor of more regulations. The problem in the US is that the Constitution has been amended so much so that it is now a document that is on the verge of becoming meaningless.
The nanny state is a perfect example of how judicially-inspired legislation corrupts the system. It does not take into account that people must be allowed to succeed or fail on their own and assumes that the government can guarantee happiness. Happiness is not guaranteed even though it is a right. The Kagan experience should viewed for what it is, and that would be a dangerous step for America. In fact, many are now openly saying that given the penchant for America to borrow excessively is leading it toward financial ruin. Much of this has to do with wars that are fought but not declared by Congress and thus not paid for as well as social programs that are abject failures, yet nobody seems to be able to say that they have no right to exist.
All I can say is that this video speaks volumes as to why America’s Constitution should be simple and straightforward. Many of the amendments that exist today have become mere rallying points for the media and their propagandists to shake down their fellow citizens by way of taxes. They do this by presenting false arguments for or against issues, which fundamentally are unconstitutional. Yet, oddly nobody says a word. The reason for this is simple. Once social engineering, or socialism, is adopted into the constitution it creates more inequity by favoring one group over another.
Meanwhile, when there is a real need to exercise a basic constitutional right of self-defense, it often gets lost in the muddle of other language in the constitution and leads to situations like what exists in both Israel and the US today, which eerily reflects one another in their inconsistent reaction to an obvious threat from Iran and other rogue nations in possession of weapons of mass destruction.
In other words, the judiciary has no business whatsoever dabbling into the affairs of the legislative branch of government, and vice versa. When it does, a nation becomes weaker because its hands are tied and is unable to defend itself, much in the same way the US is faltering in Afghanistan now.

I have observed for a very long time the disgusting arrogance of those elected to political office in this country. The majority of which I have found to be smarmy opportunists and con artists. That right I said con-artists! Look at what is befouling 1600 Pennsylvania Ave this very moment, the ultimate liar and con-artist since Bush Sr, Billary and W.
The con-man now in residence in the White House lied all the way through the campaign and yet no one seemed to care when it was documented that he is a consummate liar and a fraud. A do nothing, know nothing communist community organizer with a slick line of bullshit and the deep pockets of Satan! This was all brought out by the alternative independent websites, but the MGMSM was too busy having goose bumps, tingly leg syndrome, premature rhetorical ejaculation and general deification of “the one”, to even care or notice!
We now have a such a Plantation mentality in this country that those running same think they can dictate to us every aspect of our lives, what we should be thinking about, what we should be saying, what we should be doing with our lives, what clothes we should wear, what products we can or cannot buy, what vehicles we should be driving if any, it’s just do what THEY say and all will be fine! Yeah Right!
With the coming elections in November I “HOPE” all of this will begin to “CHANGE”!

Saying taxes are voluntary reminds me of the tax dodger scams out there that try to sell you the same lie. To hear this from a sitting Senator is beyond the pale, to hear it from the leader of the Senate is criminal.
The United States government under present laws and Supreme Court decisions (read “legalized extortion”) has the right and yeah many say, the duty, to screw up your whole life IF you don’t pay these “voluntary taxes” the pinhead Reid keeps yammering about.
Under Ringworm Reid’s analogy I guess the Mafia is not guilty of extorting “protection money” from it’s victims, they just make voluntary payments or the “boys” come around and break your legs and/or threaten your family.
The former Louisiana sharecropper, who wanted to make a better life for himself, wound up being victimized by the so-called ‘progressive’ mayor of Chicago, Richard Daley, who insists that banning handguns is necessary to fighting crime. Basically, what you have here is a man who thought he was leaving a life of servitude only to become a slave to a new and improved plantation, the touchy feely, so-called ‘compassionate’ plantation where one is left completely defenseless while criminals are basically coddled.

Major kudos go to olbroad for this one. Although this video appeared in 2009, it is well within the reality of today’s politics, which just seems to steamroll over people despite what their conscience dictates and what the Constitution sets forth. Instead, the plans laid out for you are here.
No wonder O-What’s-His-Name doesn’t care if the oil gusher continues to destroy the gulf. No wonder he turned away help from other countries for skimmers. It’s meant to drive home the point that unless you submit to the sustainability propaganda then you are clearly out of step. And what is sustainability to the elite? It’s about containing, confining, and controlling people so that they will have little or no chance whatsoever of owning property, starting a business, making a profit – you know, all the things that motivate entrepreneurs to develop new products, new technologies, and ultimately new markets.
Oh no, you see the Agenda 21 crowd is about ensuring that the oligarchy, that is, the status quo remains firmly entrenched. If you think for a moment that O-What’s-His-Name is any different than any POTUS before him then think again. He serves the same massa’s of the global plantation. As The Plantation Nation Doctrine just to the right of this column in the sidebar says, the plantation is associated with large disparities of wealth and income, foreign ownership and political influence, and exploitative social systems.
If this isn’t a plantation for the globalists right here in America, then think again. If you have any doubt whatsoever then witness how a British company basically has the POTUS paralyzed and unable to do one thing about the gulf. He is unable to do one single solitary thing, except let it unfold and create a disaster that will allow the globalists the perfect excuse for implementing cap and trade. This is nothing more or less than yet another tax to benefit the globalists, who will reap the rewards of renewable energy markets.
We at The Plantation Nation support renewable energy efforts, however, we wish to point out that such efforts should be done by entrepreneurs, and these are the people who should reap the profits. But of course when you’re usurping the almighty oil and gas oligarchy, this will hardly become reality, especially when the politicians are all, and I repeat all, bought and paid for by them.
We are economic slaves, overtaxed, and under constant bombardment by propaganda in the mainstream media, whose only goal is to divide us into opposing camps – Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative, etc. – the purpose of which is to distract us while this theft takes place. The techniques are very familiar. They revolve around one central theme of repression, mostly sexual. Once they have the audience feeling sexually inadequate because they don’t have the latest gadgets or the hottest car or that they don’t take erectile enhancers, then basically they’ve got you. They can sell anybody anything at that point, and they have done it.
Folks, in just six short months taxes will skyrocket to pay for this new health care fiasco. Let’s just call it what it is, which is a tax. It’s rationing, plain and simple, but with a twist. It is a handout to the insurance companies who will reap the benefit from everyone being forced to buy health insurance. Sure, the government calls it something good, which is precisely what they call cap and trade. But it’s a tax. Make no mistake about it. Why else would all these taxes be dreamed up right now? If there wasn’t theft taking place on a massive scale from the US Treasury with deficits rising astronomically then there would be no reason to dream up excuses for new taxes.
Never let a crises go to waste, folks. That’s the deal. And Agenda 21 is why.
Well, all we can say here at The Plantation Nation, is that more and more people are catching onto how the media conspires with elected officials to collude with global business interests to produce what is nothing less than a plantation mentality.

‘Those lucky enough to have been taught history, and those old enough to remember it, recognize the current disregard for common sense and the growing subservience to centralized government with the promotion of collectivism over individualism, the indoctrination for “global citizenry,” and the new preference for “social” over equal justice. Political and moral opinions that don’t fit a centralized government’s sanitized criteria are no longer being tolerated, and the penalty for straying off the plantation is public ridicule.’
Right you are, Linda. She goes on to add:
‘If a centralized government, with the help of a compliant media, can wean people away from their moral beliefs and convictions and lull them into a pretense of complacency, then that government can and will use its power to control everyone and everything. The only way we can save ourselves is to study history and understand the influences of the past. Sheep allow themselves to be herded. If we do, it will be the end of America and the world’s last best hope for freedom.’

Well, it dawned on me finally. That is, if any of you out there are really serious about your Constitution then these are things you would immediately do:
1. Educate yourself and family on the need for and proper use of self defense tactics and the tools of the trade.
2. Immediately cease using the word race or racism or anything to do with placing people into divisive ethnic categories. After all, weren’t all men and women supposed to be “created equal under the law“? (If you are involved in this divisive activity, then you do not believe in the founding principles of the United States.)
3. Turn away from the distracting and confusing blatant media propaganda packaged to make you believe that there is some kind of great tension in the world, that you as an individual have no power to “change“ whatsoever. (The media is supposed to be comprised of journalists, whose job it is to report the facts without embellishment. Most media companies will be run out business because more and more people believe the MGMSM outlets are abusing the Constitution rather than protecting same.)
And so there, folks. There’s the short list. That wasn’t too bad, now was it? You see, in just three short steps you can regain your liberty and become a happy person again.
The US was basically founded by good intelligent people who knew better, but today many people have simultaneously turned against our cherished Constitution in favor of hating it and thus turning it into just another title on the suggested reading list, meaning that one day, if you get around to it, then maybe you’ll read it, much less actually take any of it seriously.
Well folks it has finally happened after nearly a century the lame ass SCOTUS has finally ruled where they should have on the issue of individual gun rights. Praising the Jesus! Hallelujah! It’s about freaking time!!
This is an argument I have had with the leftist loons on several moonbat websites for over 15 years! The jerks over at those wacko sites are writhing in agony like worms on a hot sidewalk. They, the anti-gunners, have had the stuffing kicked out of their collecting nuts and are now in the position of having to run for cover! This means that ALL of the restrictive gun laws, including ALL of the fallacious assault weapons bans by CA, NY and other like nutbag legislatures are going to be overturned piece meal!
Now we need some of the Federal Firearm Acts overturned and/or repealed. I want my machine gun without the government knowing about same for instance!!
